The Siaya Governor pointed to abandoned projects such as the Ringa\u2013Atemo and Kakelo\u2013Kokwanyo roads, saying the delays have negatively affected businesses and transport in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also raised concerns over healthcare services at Rachuonyo District Hospital, arguing that many families are struggling to access quality treatment under the Social Health Authority (SHA) system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe cannot celebrate Last Mile electricity on paper while our villages remain in darkness,\u201d he said, drawing cheers from the crowd gathered in Oyugis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Orengo further compared Homa Bay\u2019s development challenges to projects being implemented in neighboring Siaya County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
