I want to be the governor and continue with the development agenda of Kisumu County,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oron said industrialisation would be a priority under his administration, with investment and employment opportunities spread across the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He singled out Seme, which he said lacked major industries, and pledged to promote the establishment of factories across the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;There are no factories in Seme. We want a factory in each ward. We have to have numbers. That is what will see us get MPs and even senators,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Political parties are increasingly stepping up grassroots activities ahead of the 2027 elections, with candidates and party officials seeking to strengthen their support bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oron urged residents to remain united as political activity gathers pace, saying voters would ultimately decide who leads the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Wananchi will decide,\u201d he said.
